Bison Roll to 82-70 Win over Northern Colorado

FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State men’s basketball team raced out to a 10-0 lead and rolled to an 82-70 victory over Northern Colorado in Big Sky-Summit Challenge action Saturday night at the Scheels Center.
 
NDSU senior Jacksen Moni had 18 points, seven rebounds, and four assists to lead the Bison. Six Bison scored in double figures, with Brennan Watkins, Jacari White, Masen Miller and Tajavis Miller all tallying 11 points, and Darik Dissette adding 10.
 
The Bison shot 54 percent overall and 62 percent in the second half. NDSU made 9-of-22 (41 percent) from three-point range.
 
NDSU drained five three-pointers in the game’s first six minutes, building an early 19-6 advantage. Northern Colorado trimmed the deficit to three at 37-34 at halftime.
 
The Bison opened the second half with a 13-2 run, with Watkins scoring the first seven points. NDSU maintained a double-digit lead the rest of the way.
 
Noah Feddersen finished with a career-high 11 rebounds.
 
NDSU will play at Butler on Tuesday in Indianapolis. Game time is set for 6:30 p.m. ET / 5:30 CT on FS1.
