With their matchup against the Arizona Cardinals at U.S. Bank Stadium less than 24 hours away, the Minnesota Vikings have made a couple of final roster moves.
The team has announced that they will elevate tight end Nick Muse and cornerback Nahshon Wright from the practice squad to the active roster for Sunday’s game.
It’s been quite the week for Muse. He celebrated a birthday earlier in the week. That same day, the Vikings announced that he was being waived. Once he cleared waivers the team brought him back to the practice squad and now the team is elevating him to the main roster for the second consecutive week. He will again serve as the third tight end with Josh Oliver set to miss his second straight game.
Wright was acquired by the Vikings during the preseason in a trade that saw the purple send Andrew Booth Jr. to Dallas. Booth has already been let go by the Cowboys after underperforming, but Wright has stuck with Minnesota’s practice squad to this point. This will be his first elevation of the 2024 season.
Those should be the last roster moves that the team will make ahead of Sunday’s game, but if they do make any other moves we will let you know about them straight away.
