Hinze Named to Summit League Volleyball All-League Team

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Senior outside hitter Ali Hinze has been named to the Summit League Volleyball All-League Team.

Hinze led the Bison and ranked 10th in the Summit League with a team-high 184 kills and averaged 2.92 kills per set in league play. The Maple Grove, Minn., native reached double digits in kills in nine Summit League matches with 12 service aces. Hinze also added 178 digs with 33 total blocks on the defensive end. She logged seven double-doubles across 16 total league matches.

Hinze earned her fifth All-Summit League award of her five-year career at NDSU. She was a two-time All-Summit League First Team selection in 2022 and 2023. Hinze was also named to the 2020-21 All-Summit League Team and earned All-Summit League Honorable Mention accolades in 2021. Additionally, she was named the 2020-21 Summit League Freshman of the Year.

Fourth-seeded NDSU will face fifth-seeded Denver in the first round of the Summit League Championship on Sunday. First serve is set for 3:00 p.m., in Kansas City, Mo.
