FARGO, N.D. – Sophomore Darik Dissette and senior Masen Miller both scored 16 points to lead the North Dakota State men’s basketball team to a 67-60 victory over Minnesota Crookston on Thursday evening inside the Scheels Center.
The Bison improved to 3-3 on the season with the win.
Dissette added seven rebounds to go along with his career-high 16 points. Miller finished with six rebounds and a team-high four assists. Noah Feddersen and Jeremiah Burke both added 10 points for NDSU.
The Golden Eagles shot 42 percent for the game and made 10-of-25 (40 percent) from three-point range, compared to NDSU’s 41 percent overall and 5-of-18 (28 percent) from beyond the arc.
NDSU capitalized on 17 offensive rebounds with 21 second-chance points.
The game was tied at 56-56 with five minutes remaining before the Bison pieced together an 11-3 run to go ahead 67-59.
The Bison will travel to Birmingham, Ala., next week for three games against Samford, West Georgia and Utah Valley on Nov. 26-28.
