The Games: The North Dakota State men’s basketball team will travel to Birmingham, Ala., to play three games hosted by Samford University during Thanksgiving Week.

Against Samford: North Dakota State and Samford have never met in men’s basketball.
Against West Georgia: NDSU and West Georgia have never played in men’s basketball. The Wolves, located in Carrollton, Ga., are in their first year of transition from Division II to Division I.
Against Utah Valley: The Bison and Wolverines have played nine times previously, with NDSU leading the series 5-4. Utah Valley won the last meeting, 68-62 in Fargo on Nov. 23, 2019. Home teams are 7-2 in the series, with this being the first meeting on a neutral court.
Dissette Career Highs: Sophomore Darik Dissette posted new career-highs for points (16) and rebounds (7) in NDSU’s win over Minnesota Crookston on Nov. 21.
Take Care: The Bison rank 18th in the nation for fewest turnovers per game (9.0) and 21st nationally for fewest fouls committed per game (13.7).
White Hot: Senior Jacari White posted career-highs in back-to-back games to open the season, scoring 22 points vs. Jamestown on Nov. 4 before pouring in 27 points vs. Illinois State on Nov. 7. Through six games, he is averaging 17.0 points.
Bombs Away: The Bison are averaging more than 30 three-point attempts per game this season. NDSU’s 39 three-point attempts vs. Illinois State on Nov. 7 were only one off the school single-game record of 40.
Point Guard Duo: NDSU’s point guard duo of junior Brennan Watkins and freshman Andy Stefonowicz have combined for 26 assists compared to just 9 turnovers this season.
Santa Clara Comeback: The Bison erased a 19-point deficit to come back for an 88-80 overtime win at Santa Clara on Nov. 13. Jacari White and Jacksen Moni both scored 19 points in the game, and the Bison made 15-of-32 (47 percent) from three-point range.
Santa Clara was picked third in the West Coast Conference preseason poll behind Gonzaga and Saint Mary’s.
Fifteen Treys: The Bison drained 15 three-pointers in their win at Santa Clara on Nov. 13 — only one short of their single game record of 16, which has been achieved four times.
Board Man: Luke Kasubke pulled down a career-high nine rebounds at Southern Illinois on Nov. 18.
